By Albert Sanders
In this article I would like to share about how to make
wireless printer setup in your home. Because as far as I know many people consider that
wireless printer setup is only able to be built in the office.
The first step you can check the availability of wireless network card on your computer to make sure if your computer supports for
wireless printer setup or not. For the computers under 2000, they usually do not have wireless network card. If your computer does not have
wireless network card, you can purchase it at any computer supplies store.
Then you need to have a router. The router functions to set up the appropriate passageway for information package to pass from one network to another network. You also need to make sure that the wireless network of your computer is compatible with the router. There are 2 kinds of router, the 802.11b (for standard) and the 802.11g (for larger use). There are many companies that manufacture wireless routers, two of them are D-Link and Linksys.
The next step you need to establish your wireless router onto your computer. The installation process is usually easy because you only need to follow the instruction. Once you have built a wireless connection on your computer and it’s ready to use.
Then you need to have a
wireless printer that has been installed onto the computer. There are several models of wireless printer such as
multifunction printer that can function as copier, printer, scanner and fax machine and inkjet photo printer.
These steps bellow can be followed after the printer software has been installed onto your computer.
